color.generate [electronic-mechanic image-machine]
computer-based drawing machine, 2000
color.generate consists of a software program that generates images and then, via a software-controlled machine, draws those images with pen onto paper.
The software allocates lines of different lengths to the image canvas through the use of a series of algorithms within set parameters. The allocation is carried out step by step for different colors until the pattern is filled.
Each step of color-line-assignment is directly drawn by the machine with a selected pen, creating a complete 15 x 20 cm line-drawing on A4 paper.
